Meteorite originates from outer space and features unique crystalline “Widmanstatten Patterns,” formed over millions of years of cooling. Geologists estimate it took about 1000 years for these molten pieces of planetary core to cool by just 1 degree Celsius.
The Muonionalusta meteorite was first found in 1906 and is located north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. It traveled through space for over four billion years before being captured by Earth’s gravity.
